I have an extensive photo and reference library I ran research to achieve the end results.

English enamel signs were very pictorial in the early days because most of the people were illiterate and would identify with pictures on signs more than words.

 

There are photos in this gallery of before and after shots of a huge variety of signs that come through my workshop, including beautiful English pictorial signs, fully embossed 6x3 garage signs.

These items have needed restoration to bring them back to their former glory.

 

There are photos of early French bowsers that have been hand sign written, also electric American bowsers, and Australian bowsers that all come to me for sign writing.

 

I restore plaster advertising statues, tin signs and mangles. As seen in the gallery, I can also create signs all done by hand, no computers. My work is all old-school, done in the old way by brush.
